Filling up of various posts on deputation basis/Foreign Service terms/contract basis in the office of Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities.

Applications are invited from suitable candidates working in the Central/State Government, PSUs etc. for filling up a few vacant post/likely to fall vacant as per Annexure – I in the Office of the Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment on deputation/short term contract basis.  The deputation will be governed by the standard terms and conditions contained in the Department of Personnel and Training’s O.M.No.2/29/91-Estt.(Pay-II) dated 05.01.1994 as amended time to time and the provisions in Recruitment Rules.

 

Application of willing eligible candidates who can be relived immediately on selection and are free from vigilance angle may be forwarded to the Office of Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Sarojini House, 6, Bhagwan Dass Road, New Delhi – 110 001 in the prescribed format as per annexure II through proper channel by 15.12.2009* alongwith with attested copies of ACRs for the last 5 years and vigilance clearance as per proforma in Annexure III.  Applications received directly will not be considered.  If other things are equal, persons with disabilities will be preferred even if vacancy is not reserved for them.

 

Except the post of Private Secretary, all the vacancies in Annexure I can be filled up on contract basis also on consolidated emoluments as indicated in Annexure I.  If the vacancies are filled up on contract basis, one vacancy of Personal Assistant will be reserved for OH (OA/OL/BL/OAL/B/LV).  In case O.H. is not available, the vacancy will be interchanged with V.H. as it is a carry forward vacancy.  Applications for appointment on contract should be made in the format as per Annexure III.

Note 1 :     Period of deputation (including short – term contract) including the period of deputation (including short – term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years.  The maximum age limit for deputation should not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipts of applications.

 

Note 2 :  The age limit for contract appointment is 18 - 27 years. Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/Persons with Disabilities/ experienced/exceptionally qualified candidates.

 

Note 3 :   Date of determining the age limit shall be the closing date of receipt of applications.
